Why DuoTrack
A high-end car is stolen in 90 seconds. Without tracking, it's almost always lost.
Premium and luxury cars, Range Rover, Porsche, Mercedes AMG, Audi RS, Lamborghini, Ferrari, BMW M, are the priority targets of organised theft networks across Europe. Most are found dismantled in warehouses in Poland, Romania or North Africa, or leave the country within 6 hours of the theft.
The only effective recovery lever: immediate geolocation.
DuoTrack is a discreet GPS tracking system installed in your vehicle, autonomously powered, undetectable by common jammers. It streams its position continuously to a secure infrastructure hosted in Switzerland. In the event of theft, you access the coordinates via the mobile app and pass them to the police, who lead the recovery.

Duo Guardians is an agency led by former police officers who served in the canton of Vaud. DuoTrack was designed by people who know vehicle recovery procedures and how Swiss police services operate. The technology, the tracking reliability and the data format are calibrated to integrate naturally into a police investigation.
How it works

Activation
Your vehicle appears in the DuoTrack app (iOS / Android). Position viewable any time, geofence notifications (not alarms), "vehicle at rest" mode while travelling.

If the car is stolen
You contact the police (117) to file a complaint. You share the vehicle's GPS coordinates with the police directly from the DuoTrack app. The police then decide on the procedure: intervention, tracking, international cooperation.

Recovery
The police lead the operation. On legal request, DuoTrack provides the police with location history and movement data relevant to the investigation. Goal: recovery within 24-48h, before the vehicle is exported.

Frequently asked questions.
01Is the tracker detectable?
The DuoTrack tracker uses a multi-frequency technology and an installation location chosen to minimise detection by RF scanners commonly used by organised thieves. No system is 100 % undetectable, but our install is designed to resist the rapid scans typical of a 90-second theft.
02What if the car crosses a border?
DuoTrack works across Europe (GSM 2G / 4G + satellite coverage). If your car crosses the border, you see it in real time in the app and we coordinate with Swiss police for international transmission via Interpol.
03Why not an alarm system?
Two reasons. Legal: DuoTrack is positioned as a GPS tracking system, not as an alert or alarm system, which keeps it outside the Swiss Concordat on security enterprises (CES) that regulates the latter. Operational: an alarm can be neutralised. A discreet GPS tracker stays active after thieves move the car, exactly when you need it to work.
04Is my data private?
Your location data is hosted in Switzerland, encrypted at rest and in transit. Accessible only to you via the app, and shared with the police only after you file a theft complaint, or on legal request.
05Can I install it in German-speaking Switzerland?
Yes. We have install partners in Zurich and Basel. GPS coverage and the app work identically. Hotline support available in German on request.
06What if I sell the car?
The tracker is tied to an account. Three options: (1) have the tracker removed in the workshop (free) and cancel; (2) transfer it to your new vehicle (CHF 150.- reinstall fee); (3) hand it over to the buyer (free account transfer, buyer takes over the subscription).
07Which cars are compatible?
All passenger cars and light utility vehicles. OBD or direct power connection depending on the vehicle. Compatible with combustion, hybrid and electric.
08Does tracking work if the battery is unplugged?
Yes, the tracker has its own backup battery (~7 days autonomy in eco mode). Designed precisely for this scenario, organised thieves know they need to cut the battery to neutralise basic trackers.
